FLESHBOUND

The world did not end in fire.
It ended in refinement.

In the aftermath of collapse, humanity sought order—and created something worse than chaos. Clones were engineered to rebuild civilization, governed by Identity Directive Modules that erased choice in the name of efficiency. Those who failed to conform were discarded, replaced or forgotten.

They called them seed clones.

But something went wrong.

The Cicada N1 virus, born as a military experiment to protect soldiers on the battlefield, was unleashed during an illegal operation against the cartels. Designed to reanimate enemy corpses as living shields, it mutated beyond control, rewriting human DNA at a hundred times the predicted rate. The dead didn't stay dead-they came back twisted, warped into flesh-woven horrors the survivors called them the CHUMs. Contagious Hostile Undead Morphotypes.

At the center of it all stands Adam, the first clone—unchained from control, burdened with choice. Around him gather the Awakened, seed clones who have begun to act without command, discovering free will in the ruins of their own design.

Opposing them are the Unmodified—Tonya, Adler, Allen, and Tommy—humans who survived without alteration, carrying memory, guilt, and the weight of a past that refuses to stay buried.

As ideologies collide and the fortress decays, one question echoes through the corridors:

Is freedom salvation—or just another form of extinction?

FLESHBOUND is a post-apocalyptic horror saga about identity, autonomy, and what happens when survival demands the sacrifice of humanity itself. It blends psychological dread, body horror, and philosophical tension into a world where choice is dangerous—and control may be the last illusion keeping anyone alive.

THE UNMODIFIED

Known to the Neuroseed Initiative as the Unmodified, they are the survivors of the Fall—the last remnants of original human civilization.

When the nations collapsed and the mainland became uninhabitable, those who remained human fled the interior. Cities were abandoned. Borders dissolved. The land was surrendered to the morphotypes. Humanity retreated to the margins of the world.

THE MORPHOTYPES

The Cicada N1 virus began as a classified military experiment, engineered to protect soldiers on the battlefield. Deployed during an illegal operation against the cartels, it was meant to reanimate enemy corpses as living shields. Instead, it mutated beyond all projections, rewriting human DNA at a rate one hundred times faster than predicted.

The dead did not stay dead.

They returned twisted—bodies fused, flesh reworked into grotesque forms driven by a singular instinct to survive. The survivors gave them a name:

C.H.U.M.s
Contagious Hostile Undead Morphotypes.
